vEMI-Traceability allows customers to trace product forward and backward through plant storage units, processing equipment, valves, and pipes. It constructs a graphic depiction of genealogy that is easy to understand and navigate.

The patented genealogy algorithm provides best in class traceability even for highly complex fluid processing, allowing customers to minimize the volume of product exposed to product recall risk at any time, and to validate scientifically the conclusions reached in the event of an actual contamination or other food safety incident. This allows companies with global supply chains, or multi function plants, to better understand and contain their risk factors in the event of an incident.
With vEMI-Traceability the customer can trace any material or ingredient forward and backward from any point in the Plant Model. The customer may search for any attribute of a material that has entered the system. The Plant Model will configure to collect lot traceable parameters such as Supplier Lot ID, Bill of Lading Numbers, or Operator Names. A simple to read graphic visualization will instantly identify the point of origin around searchable parameters, to immediately isolate all products that could have been affected, as well as the process path unique to the parameters in question. All co-mingling, by-products, and mixed lots are quickly and securely identified.
vEMI-Traceability also supports point of origin search capabilities, such as material moving from the receiving bay through loading dock. The search parameters can be filtered to begin at the end-consumer package lot code and trace backwards to the incoming material at the receiving bay.
