Craig Nelson

Craig Nelson, Founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Craig Nelson is recognized as the leading expert on practical application of software and automation in food manufacturing. As a systems integrator, Craig utilized products and tools from the major vendors. He recognized the need for a configurable application to solve industry-wide challenges and, with his partners, invested considerably in creating the Vigilistics product in collaboration with seven major dairy and food processing companies.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Craig inspires the further development and application of Vigilistics software. His unique perspective on solving the operational and regulatory challenges that face all food manufacturers continues to drive cost-saving innovation in those companies. Charles Scalfani

Charles Scalfani, Chief Architect
Charles was the Chief Architect of the highly experienced team of software engineers and information architects that created the Vigilistics software. Innovative application of Microsoft technology, object-oriented design and high availability fault tolerance created the system that is running today, 24/7, in complex process manufacturing plants.

Over 15 years in software engineering exposed Charles to a wide range of applications, from ink-to-digital processing for the entertainment industry, to high-volume transaction processing in enterprise business systems. As a software engineer for Mission Controls, Charles used the tools provided by the leading vendors to attempt to meet the requirements of data collection and reporting. Realizing the limitations of the conventional process automation designs, Charles took a clean sheet approach to the Vigilistics design. The result is a tracking and tracing solution with high performance, that is a modular and scalable solution and requires no custom programming.
