We are often asked if we replace the HMI, historian and other tools provided by the well-known vendors in industrial automation. We do not. In fact, we augment their capabilities in a non-intrusive manner. For example, Vigilistics may collect information entered into an HMI by operators or record a button press on an HMI screen. Your data historian can continue collecting time-series data used by process engineers or SPC. We are collecting manufacturing transactions, not data.
